Are you prepared for the new Scottish fire alarm regulations?

From February 2021, all homes will need to comply with Scottish Governments new fire and smoke alarm regulations. Therefore, if you look after a residential property you need to act fast to ensure this work is completed over the next two months.

 

What does this mean for you?

Smoke alarms must be installed in the most frequently used room

One smoke alarm in each circulation area (such as hallways and landings)

Heat alarm in every kitchen
