RoSPA’s mission is to save lives and reduce injuries. The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents is a registered charity established over 90 years ago and aims to campaign for change, influence opinion, contribute to debate, educate and inform – for the good of all.

By providing information, advice, resources and training, RoSPA is actively involved in the promotion of safety and the prevention of accidents in all areas of life – at work, in the home, and on the roads. The Society works towards its aims with central and local government, the caring services, the police and with public and private sector organisations large and small. Some of its work is funded by grant and sponsorship but mostly relies on the support of its growing Membership. As well as contributing to RoSPA’s valuable work, Members enjoy a range of benefits from journal subscription to course discounts.

Since 1956, RoSPA has organised its prestigious national award scheme to recognise excellence in work-related health and safety performance by private and public sector organisations.

The scheme is based on assessment of a broad portfolio of evidence about the level of development and performance of an entrant’s occupational health and safety management system, and also takes into account the entrant’s reportable accident rate and enforcement experience. PHS Compliance (formerly CLM Compliance) are very proud to be holders of both Silver and Gold RoSPA awards which indicates our commitment to health and safety and is testament to the professionalism of our employees.
