PHS Compliance (Formerly CLM) has operated significantly in Scotland since 1989 when the business was newly formed. The decision to expand our presence and move the entire operation for the Country northwards was taken some years later in 2004. The most significant step was to open our Scottish regional office in Glasgow to improve communications, visibility and customer service. This has proven to be a great success with a team of 35 office staff and field engineers now using Glasgow as their base. The growth we have experienced in the mid-Scotland region has been phenomenal due mainly to our presence in Glasgow which has enable our Operations and Development teams to be closer to our clients.
Our office in Glasgow is fully operational and performs all of the key functions of the business for the region autonomously from order processing, planning, client liaison, and report and invoice distribution. The strategic locations of our field based engineers enable us to service clients in the Strathclyde, Lothian, Borders and Dumfries and Galloway regions providing us with the most comprehensive coverage in the industry.
Because of the diverse nature of our client base in Scotland, our team in Glasgow is particularly well equipped to deliver all core services our business offers. The flexibility that exists within the team in Glasgow means that they are also able to deliver bundles packages of compliance inspections both electrical and gas along with electrical repairs, remedial solutions and large scale installations. As with all of our regional teams, the Glasgow region can offer our customers a fully comprehensive gas and electrical maintenance and servicing package incorporating a 24/7 emergency call out service.
