Following a major contract win with Aberdeenshire Council in 2007, PHS Compliance (Formerly CLM Compliance) took the decision to invest heavily into developing our business in the North of the Country. Building on an already established team, we recruited an additional Operation and administration team of 6 people and an engineering workforce of 12. Since 2007, this team has increased to a total of 34 employees working from our office in Kintore servicing clients across the North of Scotland including The Orkneys, Outer Hebrides, the Highlands, Aberdeenshire and Angus down to Argyll and Bute, Sterling, Perth and Kinross, Angus and Fife.
As with all of our regional teams across the UK and Northern Ireland, our Northern Scotland team have the expertise to deliver a full range of inspection, testing and installation services to gas, LPG and oil heating and electrical installation and equipment. From our Kintore base, we can provide our clients with expert guidance on their obligations as employers and Landlords and offer peace of mind that regardless of the location of their buildings we can provide an engineer to deliver compliance and safety. And because we use local engineers in the North of Scotland, we are able to reach more isolated locations without passing travelling and overnight costs onto our customers.
Key clients in the North of Scotland now include several Local Authorities and NHS Trusts, Royal Household Properties, MOD, Housing Associations and some of the regions largest private businesses. Our business in the North of Scotland continues to grow rapidly as customers recognise our commitment to the region and its people. We have been able to create many jobs thanks to the investment that we and our clients have made through sustainable partnerships and trust.
